The pharmaceutical industry has long recognized the value of thought leaders for their strong influence on their peers and the consequent role they play in the dissemination and acceptance of their scientific data. In addition, thought leaders also play a key role in R&D, clinical development as well as commercialization. Since thought leaders have varying strengths and abilities as speakers, investigators and academic leaders, the recruitment for the various thought leader roles needed for product acceptance in the field can be a complex decision-making process.
To make this process easier and more reliable, EMC has developed a system that offers much more than database management capabilities. The TLdb is a clinical profile system that enables you to accurately identify the best candidates for a multitude of specialized roles for speaking assignments, publication projects, investigative work, etc. The TLdb provides insight knowledge about your key opinion leaders (KOLs) and your other targeted thought leaders (TLs) identifying their clinical experience and expertise as it relates to your product and its therapeutic area.
With insight knowledge about your KOLs and other TLs you can identify:
- Which TLs are best suited to be speakers on a specific topic on a local, regional, or national forum?
- Who are the best authors for publication projects that require specialized expertise?
- Which TLs should you invite to participate in a new trial or on an advisory board?
- Which TLs support the science about your product and the science of competitor products?
The Thought Leader Database Clinical Profile System is very cost-effective, highly efficient, tailored to meet your specific needs and fully supported for all of its applications.
